An instinctive problem solver, Zoë relishes the most complex business issues. Having experienced first-hand the tensions that the traditional legal model creates for businesses and in-house teams, Zoë was driven to co-found Support Legal. She is passionate about the opportunity our model offers to break down barriers to quality legal services for emerging companies, whilst offering the best lawyers in the industry a flexible approach to work.
Zoë cut her teeth in London and Dubai in the top flight corporate teams of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP and Shearman & Sterling LLP, advising on public and private M&A, debt and equity securities, corporate financing, joint ventures, restructurings and corporate governance matters around the world.
Moving into challenging and fast moving environments as an in-house lawyer, she added to her diverse portfolio of legal experience, navigating sales and distribution, operational and supply chain matters and employment and regulatory issues, in addition to offering her corporate expertise.
Stepping out of her legal comfort zone, she has also spent time on the commercial front lines. This experience has given her a real understanding of the day-to-day pressures business people face as they seek to drive growth against time and cost constraints.
Bringing her significant experience to bear, Zoë will be guiding the operations of our business (a.k.a. whipping us into shape) ensuring we offer a seamless service.
Zoë is licensed to practice law in England and Wales. She holds a BSc in Psychology from the University of Durham, a Graduate Diploma in Law and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Psychology from Heriot-Watt University.

Lee co-founded Support Legal having understood first hand the disconnect in the legal profession between the way lawyers billed for their services and the way the client wanted to be billed. Having gained both top tier experience (King & Wood Mallesons and Herbert Smith Freehills) and blue chip commercial experience across five continents, including as a General Counsel, he also saw how innovation and technology could revolutionise the industry for all involved. Impatient at how slowly the legal world was embracing these opportunities, he’s happy to be off the clock, helping companies achieve their goals without draining their precious resources.
Lee is the mastermind who has brought together the technology that enables Support Legal, creating a lean model that works efficiently for both the team and their clients.
Clients of all sizes can benefit from his breadth of commercial experience, including heading the legal function of a UK publicly-traded mining company. Lee’s enthusiasm, expertise and ardent support for his clients, make him a loyal partner for legal and business matters.
And should you ever get stuck in a coal mine, he's been down plenty of those, too, and would be happy to assist.
In 2016, Lee gained a nomination for General Counsel of the Year at the Corporate Counsel Middle East awards. Lee is licensed to practice law in Australia. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business (Management), a Bachelor of Laws and a graduate certificate in legal practice from the University of Technology, Sydney.
