virtuous Cycle

ripples captial

client:

Ripples Capital (ripplescapital.com) was founded in early 2017 by Mohamad Ballout, a successful entrepreneur with strong roots in the UAE. In 2007, Mohamad co-founded BMB Group, an innovative confectionery business that now employees over 1,000 people and exports its products all over the world. Having exited BMB Group, Mohamad has formed Ripples Capital to reinvest exit proceeds in start-ups across the MENA region whose founders are able to demonstrate an ability to scale their models.

engagement:

Ripples Capital has engaged Support Legal to advise on the establishment of its corporate structure, its corporate governance framework as well as the international structuring of its various investments. We work with Ripples Capital on a fixed fee basis, allowing the company to set advisory fee budgets with a greater degree of certainty without compromising the sophistication of the legal advice received.

what the client says:

"As we set out to deploy capital into the MENA region start-up ecosystem, we know we need trusted legal advisors we can rely on to be long term partners in our business without compromising on quality of advice. Support Legal fits that mould to a tee. The founders have set out to create something truly unique. It is great to see lawyers trying something different and seeking to service the specific needs of entrepreneurs and emerging companies; these are the type of clients that will have the most meaningful impact on the growth of economies around the Middle East and Africa".
