pipe dream

Founded in Istanbul in 2014, Biopipe's (biopipe.co) technology is revolutionizing waste water treatment processes. By allowing waste water to be treated without the need of costly and energy-intensive treatment plants, Biopipe provides a sustainable and innovative method to treat water at a fraction of the cost of traditional processes.

Biopipe's Swiss parent company had been approached by a global industrial company to license its product for use in the Middle East and Africa. While the founders recognised the market opportunity, they needed support to put together an international corporate structure to allow the company to optimize growth whilst safeguarding its intellectual property. The founders engaged Support Legal to assist on the structuring of their Middle East operations and to review their intellectual property licensing arrangements.

what the client says:

"We relied heavily on the regional experience of the Support Legal team when deciding to expand our operations into the Middle East and Africa. The team's expertise in matters ranging from cross-border structuring and licensing arrangements, combined with their extensive contact base, ensured that our entry into these markets was a smooth one. As a result of their transparent and innovative fee structure, it was easy to establish a basis of trust with the team, which also assisted in the strong outcome they achieved for our company".
